On August 18, three earthquakes struck Indonesia within 24 hours. The most powerful earthquake was a 7.7 magnitude and hit the coast of Flores. The quake was followed by more than 230 aftershocks and a tsunami warning.Airbnb.org is partnering with Caritas Indonesia to provide free, emergency housing for first responders and people in need.

If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
