On July 18, a magnitude 3.7 quake struck the Junín region, near the rural district of Chongos Bajos in Peru. Preliminary reports showed about 48 homes had been destroyed and another 18 damaged, affecting around 300 people.Airbnb.org is partnering with TECHO Internacional to provide free, emergency housing for critical workers.

If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
